The Most Underrated Use of AI at Work Right Now?

One of the most underrated ways to use AI at work right now is as a thinking partner. Instead of just automating tasks, it’s about using AI to test ideas, explore angles, and uncover blind spots. By feeding it rough thoughts or open-ended questions, you can gain clarity, structure, and new perspectives—fast. It’s like having a judgment-free brainstorming buddy on call anytime.

👉 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲.

Not automation.
Not writing.
Not even summarising.

It’s using AI to 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘆𝗼𝘂 — as a sounding board.

Lately, I’ve been dropping in half-formed ideas, rough outlines, or even vague questions.
And the response? Clarity. Structure. Momentum.

Examples:

• “Does this idea make sense from a customer point of view?”
• “What are the risks I haven’t considered yet?”
• “Give me 3 angles I could take on this topic, ie CRM adoption.”

It’s like having a colleague who’s always ready to brainstorm — without judgment, delay, or meetings.

This kind of use isn’t flashy, but it’s powerful. It helps me move faster, refine better, and see blind spots before they become blockers.

AI is a 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿.
