We've Got Copilot and we're Starting to Unlock Real Value

With Microsoft Copilot in place, the team is already seeing real benefits—from faster email handling to clearer communications. Beyond the basics, it’s helping pressure-test ideas, explore different angles, and streamline documentation. Drafting early content like project plans or knowledge articles is now quicker and more effective. The key is to keep experimenting, stay curious, and use AI responsibly to drive meaningful impact.

We’re fortunate to have Microsoft Copilot across the team — and it’s already making a difference. Meeting summaries, drafting emails, getting through the emails faster — we’re seeing the benefits.

But we’re also starting to unlock more value by using it in different ways:

🔹 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 — especially when proposing technical changes. Copilot helps us consider downstream impacts or surface risks we might miss.

🔹 𝗦𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗲-𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗰𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘀 — running updates through it to make sure they’re clear and concise for different audiences.

🔹 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗲𝘀 — prompting it for alternative solutions or perspectives before we make a call.

🔹 𝗗𝗿𝗮𝗳𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗹𝘆 — project summary's, implementation plans, or risk matrix, Copilot’s a useful way to get started faster.

🔹 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗹𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗹𝗲𝘀 — it helps structure and streamline documentation without getting bogged down. Literally saves hours!

My ask to my team stays the same:
𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁. 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘆 𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀. 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀. 𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗔𝗜 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗹𝘆.

The more we embed this into how we work, the more we can focus on the things that move us forward.
